Painting: Matilde & her crown
A while ago, I sketched this little girl with a crown on the bottom side of a wooden box from which I removed the hinges and lid. For a few months, it accumulated dust and scratches... But on my vacation week, I finally picked it up, just as my urge for playing with acrylics kicked in ;-)

Painting wooden dolls
For a few years now, we've been holding a handmade Secret Santa tradition at the office. Although it usually takes me a great deal of time to come up with an original idea (it's the hardest part!), which in turn drives me a little nuts, I absolutely adore the challenge. I noticed that I always end up (risking) creating something that I've never created before. It's a great feeling to realize you can make something!

I just love making dolls but what I love the most is giving them their names. Each time I sew a new doll, I think of a name for her and it’s only when she’s finish that she is named. First there was Anne-Sophie, then Isadora and now Amy!
